Andrea Dovizioso conquered the victory at his debut in the one-make series for Huracán Super Trofeos. The Ducati rider and MotoGP star, after finishing fourth in Race 1, scored a victory, thanks to a tenacious conduct which allowed him to finish sixth overall.
On Saturday Dovi, always in the PRO-AM, finished at the foot of the podium.
Once again, the Ducati Factory Rider, at his debut in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo, obtained an impressive result by getting to the podium for the second time this weekend, after winning Race 2 in Pro-Am class of the final round of the European series last Friday.
Andrea Dovizioso #100 – Squadra Corse (second in the PRO-AM in Race 2): “It was a crazy race because it took place under a pouring rain which was a further new experience for me. Handling the situation wasn’t easy, especially at the beginning, because the visibility was very poor. I tried not to take too many risks and this paid off in the end. I’m very happy with how the weekend went in general”.

It has started for Andrea Dovizioso the long weekend in Valencia with the Super Trofeo Lamborghini. Yesterday, with the support of the engineers of Lamborghini Racing Team, Dovizioso has made its official debut on the Huracán Super Trofeo, and had a long chat with the official drivers Lamborghini. Today, at 11:50, he will return to action for the first of two races lasting 50 minutes of the last round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe, before tackling the commitment in the World Final weekend.

“I am delighted to have this experience with Lamborghini – comments Andrea Dovizioso – it is the first race that I will make with their car in such an important championship. It has just concluded the MotoGP season at Valencia and I honestly do not know how will be this track with four wheels, in any case I look forward to it. I will spend even four days on the machine so I’m sure I’ll enjoy a lot. I have no idea who will be my rivals, but they are definitely the best of the American championships, Asian and European.”

The program of Valencia competitive events will begin Thursday, December 1, with the first free practice and qualifying. Friday will begin instead with the races, each lasting 50 minutes and the street launched. The first to take to the track will be the protagonists of both Asia and North America series, which will share the deployment. Race 1 will start at 8:50 am and precedes that of Europe set aside for classes AM / Lamborghini Cup (10:20) and PRO / PRO-AM (11:50). Race 2 of Asia and North America will kick off at 13.35 hours; yet follow those of Europe AM / Lamborghini Cup series (15.00) and PRO / PRO-AM (16:25). Saturday morning we will start with the qualifying sessions of the World Final and Race 1 of the AM / Lamborghini Cup classes (12:15), PRO-AM (14:15) and PRO (15:55). Sunday Race 2 Classes AM / Lamborghini Cup will start at 9.30 am and will precede those of the PRO-AM class (11:30) and PRO (14.05).
